For most couples, the act of making love is one of the most romantic and enjoyable parts of a relationship.
We all know the cultural beliefs surrounding sex on the wedding night, but for one couple, their sheer size of their bodies has meant that have been unable to consummate their marriage.
Now, after decided that they do want to have children one day in the future, Lin Yue and Deng Yang have decided that they are going to undergo his-and-her weight-loss surgery.
The couple weigh an unthinkable 882lbs (400kg) between them, and despite being married for 5 years, they have never had sex with each other due to the fact their huge girth prevents them from being so intimate.
It’s not that they don’t want to, it’s that they literally cannot do it.
They currently reside in Changchun, the capital and largest city of Jilin Province, and after hearing about 537lb Qian Qian, the heaviest woman in China, receiving a gastric bypass, they decided for the sake of their marriage – and their lives – that they would both undergo the same procedure.
The couple are now taking part in a health and fitness routine in order to prepare them before the surgery.
I mean, it’s hard to imagine two people weighing in a nearly half a ton, but the fact it actually prevents them from having a physical relationship is kind of heartbreaking. But it’s not all about the sex, let’s also hope these two find a healthier and happier life with their weight loss.
